(Halifax, NS) – Celebrating the release of his latest album, The Heart of Everything, Keith Mullins will headline two shows as part of Basinview Rocks!, in support of the Kids Help Phone, at Basinview Community School in Bedford on Wednesday, November 9. Showtimes are 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Back by popular demand, teacher Carol Coutts and Basinview Community School are collaborating with multi award-winning Nova Scotia musician Keith Mullins to raise funds for the Kids Help Phone: kidshelpphone.ca

This time, Basinview Rocks! will celebrate the release of Mullins’ newest folk-pop recording, The Heart of Everything, currently nominated for two 2016 Music Nova Scotia Awards, including Solo Recording of the Year and Folk Recording of the Year. Mullins is also up for Musician of the Year and Educator of the Year.

Joining Mullins for the show are musicians, Colin Grant, Angelo Spinazzola and Rheo Rochon. The over 600 students from Basinview Community School will also back Mullins up for various songs.

“The Kids Help Phone is a great tool for kids. We are trying to let students know that they always have someone to talk to if they need to and this concert will donate some much-needed funds to the cause”, said Mullins. “Last time, we did this, we sold out two shows and raised $8,000.00 for IWK mental health. Let’s see if we can beat that!”

To promote the shows, Mullins has released a video for his song “Fireflies”, produced by Clothesline Media. To view the brand new video, visit: Fireflies
